Welcome to the School of Learning and Teaching
The School of Life Sciences Learning and Teaching manages the Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate programmes
within the College of Life Sciences. We are an academic and student support unit and we are located on the ground floor of the Carnelley Building.
We also have a dedicated team of administrative staff who are based in the School Office. The School Office deals with all student related enquiries.
The Office is open for enquiries Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 4:30pm.
Dean's Welcome Message
"Within the School of Life Sciences we offer an exciting range of BSc and Taught Postgraduate degree programmes that emphasise the many different aspects of Life Sciences as a whole. The School has several key strengths that stem from an integrated approach to teaching, research and curriculum design. In the most recent teaching assessment, the Scottish Higher Education Teaching Council rated our degrees 'Excellent', the highest possible rating, noting particularly our commitment to teaching and strong systems for student support, our well-organised courses and our research-led teaching. Please take a look at our pages to find out more, and contact our School Office if you would like further information, or if you wish to arrange a visit".
